The Great Stages of Enlightenment
It is the other book that it most well known in the West (the other being The Tibetan Book of the Dead). The book deals with the importance of moral behaviour and control of the mind as ‘prerequisites’ (a thing that is required as a prior condition for something else to happen or exist) to engage in tantric (adherence to the beliefs of tantras, involving mantras (symbolic hand gestures), meditation, yoga and rituals).
